(Video): Noni Madueke’s run and powerful shot puts Chelsea back ahead

Chelsea have retaken the lead, just when things were starting to get very tense at Bramall Lane.

After being pegged back in the first half they really hadn’t got going in this second period, and belief was growing among the home fans that they could pick up a result.

But in the end Noni Madueke has scored a textbook Noni Madueke goal to hopefully win the game.

He drove down the right wing, then cut onto his left to shoot. The Sheffield United goalkeeper dropped to his knees rather than standing tall, and the early shot caught him out. It was a great strike from the winger though, let’s not underplay that.

It’s been a disappointing game all around, but we now have another chance to show some professionalism and see it out – preferably with another couple of goals along the way.
