Chelsea are 2-0 down at half time against Aston Villa.
Morgan Rogers picked up the ball on the edge of the box, dropped the shoulder and fired a shot in at the near post. It was a good goal, and compared to the first one, there wasn’t a huge amount the Blues could do.
To make it worse, he then did the now famous Cole Palmer “shivers” celebration.
To be fair it was originally Rogers’ celebration, as Palmer admitted. The two played together at youth level, and Cole nicked his mate’s celebration.
Now, it’s come back to haunt him. Let’s hope it fires our star boy up for the second half, we desperately need him if we’re to get anything from this game. As it stands, another heavy beating is very much still on the cards.
