“Chelsea episode” – Report reveals Mauricio Pochettino’s feelings after departing Chelsea

It’s been just over a week now since Mauricio Pochettino and Chelsea parted ways by mutual consent and it sounds like he’s moving on nicely.

Pochettino has always seemed like a very nice person and very down to earth, and I think most Chelsea fans will always just wish him the best and hope that he’s doing just fine, and it sounds like he is ready to not only move on, but move into his next role soon.

Chelsea have certainly moved on as well, and they look to be soon ready to announce their new manager in a quick turnaround that will please Chelsea fans – nobody wanted another long saga waiting to see who the new head coach is going to be, regardless of whether you are happy with the choice or not.

And that choice looks set to be Leicester City boss Enzo Maresca who is all ready to join the club and seemingly just an announcement away of happening now.

What about Pochettino then?

According to London World today, Pochettino wants to get back to work as soon as possible.

The report claims that Sources close to the Argentinian have told London World that he intends to go away for a few days to see his son in Spain and his parents in Argentina but will keep his phone on in case someone attempts to speak to him.

Pochettino has been linked to clubs like Manchester United, and I wouldn’t be surprised at all to see him return to the Premier League for his next role, whether that’s United or not.

When he left Chelsea last week, he said: “Thank you to the Chelsea ownership group and Sporting Directors for the opportunity to be part of this football club’s history. The Club is now well positioned to keep moving forward in the Premier League and Europe in the years to come.”
