Chelsea to “close the deal” imminently for top new signing with reps working

Chelsea are looking to close the deal to sign a top new player imminently, and according to the latest report, we should hear something on the confirmation TODAY!

Whilst Mauricio Pochettino’s side were busy beating Brighton 2-1 in the Premier League last night to push on for a Europa League spot this season, they had some of their reps in a different country looking to seal the deal to sign a new player.

Sources: Manchester United register interest in TWO Chelsea players for a summer move!

If you haven’t heard about this deal in the last week then you’ve probably been hiding under a rock, because the excitement has been building for Chelsea to sign the next biggest thing coming out of Brazil, winger Estevao Willian.

UOL journalist Bruno Andrade had the latest on this basically right after the Chelsea vs Brighton game last night. And he says Chelsea want to tie the deal up after that game – meaning that we should hear confirmation of this deal today!

Andrade said: “Three representatives from the English team [Chelsea] will observe the young man from Palmeiras and the Blues want to close the deal right after Wednesday’s game, against Independiente Del Valle, in the Libertadores.”

Chelsea reps watching a generational talent last night?

Willian used the opportunity to impress these Chelsea reps last night, pulling off a lovely bit of skill to beat his man, showing confidence and quality.

Many have spoken about him as being a generational talent and well worth the money that Chelsea are about to drop on him.

Admittedly, this one does feel a bit different. He doesn’t seem like just another teenager that Chelsea are looking to bring in who may never even kick a ball for the club. He genuinely looks like the real deal and a player who could go on to be a world beater – let’s hope it’s at Chelsea.
