Chelsea reportedly want to sign another south american winger for his £15.7m termination clause, which in the grand scheme of things and Chelsea’s recent business, would be an absolute bargain deal.
Chelsea have been spending big on new players across the last three transfer windows since the new owners came in, and they have spent a lot on individual players such as Enzo Fernandez and Moises Caicedo.
Sources: Manchester United register interest in TWO Chelsea players for a summer move!
But it looks like they are also now trying to be smart with some new signings as well, which they have also done with arrivals such as Malo Gusto who was also an absolute bargain and has proven to be a top class signing.
According to local journalist Hernan Castillo, Chelsea want winger Ramón Sosa from Club Atlético Talleres! The president of Club Atlético Talleres has already made it clear that he will not let the Paraguayan him leave for less than £15.7 million (his termination clause).
And further to this, another local reporter Roberto Rojas, says he heard there is the possibility that BlueCo-owned Strasbourg is also interested in the 24-year-old Paraguayan left winger.
What would the plan be for Sosa?
This sounds to me like it could be a new signing for Strasbourg, putting two and two together. Perhaps he goes to Chelsea owned Strasbourg initially, and then he could always make the switch across between the clubs. Maybe he is signed by Chelsea to then be loaned right away to Strasbourg, that is also quite feasible.
Only time will tell and we will have to wait for more links and reports to come out on this one, as it is a new rumour that is just gathering pace and only coming from local media at the moment. I am sure the English media will start picking up on the details soon.
