Omari Hutchinson is wanted by Ipswich and Stuttgart this summer according to reports, with Chelsea weighing up the best move for the youngster’s future.
Hutchinson joined Chelsea on a free transfer from Arsenal in 2022, and spent last season on loan at Ipswich, where he helped the Tractor Boys win promotion back to the Premier League.
The 20-year-old scored ten goals and provided six assists in 44 Championship appearances as Ipswich finished just a point behind Champions Leicester, making it back to back promotions.
Ipswich and Stuttgart want Hutchinson
Hutchinson has one year left on his contract, but the Blues have exercised an option to extend his deal until 2026, and they will now be weighing up what the best step for his career is.
The winger was a key part of Kieran Mckenna’s side and his form saw him named Championship Player of the Month for February, and he was also named Ipswich Player of the Month on three separate occasions.
Hutchinson is likely to be a man in demand after his impressive performances at Portman Road with reports claiming two clubs are interested.
BBC Sport claim he is attracting interest from Ipswich and German side Stuttgart, who finished runners up in the Bundesliga last season.
The reports states Ipswich are keen to take Hutchinson on loan for another season or sign him on a permanent deal.
BBC Sport add that Hutchinson was a guest at Stuttgart’s final game of the season against Borussia Monchengladbach last weekend, and if he joined the German outfit he would have the possibility to play Champions League football.
Dutch giants Ajax and Feyenoord have also expressed an interest, but ultimately it will be down to incoming boss Enzo Maresca to decide what to do with the youngster.
