Chelsea youngster Omari Hutchinson has been named Ipswich Town’s Player of the Month for April following a string of impressive performances.
Hutchinson has been superb for the Tractor Boys who need one point from their final game of the season against Huddersfield to secure promotion to the Premier League.
It’s the third time the winger has won the club’s Player of the Month award, highlighting the impact he’s had at Portman Road this season.
The 20-year-old’s highlight of the month has to be his two brilliant strikes in the 3-3 draw away at Hull City.
Hutchinson will return to Chelsea this summer with just one year left on his contract, but is expected to be offered a new deal, before possibly being sent out on loan again.
If Ipswich seal promotion it would perhaps make most sense to spend another season on loan there and play regular Premier League football, which will be the next step he needs to take.
