How Vincent Kompany and John Stones helped pending new Chelsea signing

Chelsea are soon about to confirm their first signing of the summer even though the window has not officially opened yet anyway.

However, we all know what the ‘here we go’ means from transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, and he yesterday called one for Chelsea to make a new signing.

Sources: Chelsea looking at SIX goalkeeper targets for the summer with change incoming!

The Blues have been seeking a new centre back and it looks like they have now got one to arrive very soon, with an agreement made to sign a free agent.

Of course, when a player becomes a free agent the deal is much easier to do because there is only an agreement to be made with the player and not the club.

Here we go!

Romano reports Tosin Adarabioyo to Chelsea is here we go with a verbal agreement reached.

There was some words posted by respected journalist Henry Winter posted on his X page yesterday speaking about Adarabioyo, and he was full of compliments for the 26-year-old former Fulham defender.

Winter said: ‘Interest in Tosin Adarabioyo from the likes of Chelsea understandable.

‘On a free. Tall, quick and always keen to learn: constantly studies footage of other defenders like Sergio Ramos and his will to win.

‘He’s learned from good teachers along the way: from Jason Wilcox’s inspiring coaching of Manchester City U-18s (helped him believe he could step up to 1sts); and Tony Mowbray improving his concentration and positioning while on loan at Rovers.

‘Vincent Kompany and John Stones helped Tosin read the game better; Pep Guardiola worked on his ball-playing; and he’s benefited from Marco Silva’s intense Fulham training.

‘Tosin’s already 26, not the finished article, still learning, but already good and there’s plenty more to come from him.’

It certainly sounds like Chelsea have a top player on their hands here set to arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer.
