Chelsea’s new £35m signing tipped to leave on loan but hasn’t even been announced yet

One pending new Chelsea signing has been tipped to leave the club on loan right away but he hasn’t even been officially announced as a new player by the club yet!

There is a lot going on at Chelsea during these final weeks of the transfer window after already having a busy summer of signing new young players and also moving some out. Many more are expected to be moved out very soon as well, and there could be another new arrival or two as well even after Pedro Neto.

The Wolves winger is expected to sign, as is Atletico striker Samu Omorodion, with everything now agreed for both players and we are seemingly just awaiting official confirmation now for both. Perhaps that happens at today’s game against Inter Milan at Stamford Bridge? I can see that.

But I digress. Omorodion has not yet been announced and there are already reports suggesting he could go on loan.

Osimhen in, Omorodion out?

As Fabrizio Romano reports above, Chelsea will pay £35m for the Spanish striker this summer, which is a pretty big amount for a very unproven player.

But The Telegraph are reporting that Chelsea are still trying to sign Victor Osimhen from Napoli as well, and if he does arrive, it could mean Omorodion is on his way out straight away.

The report claims there is the possibility Marc Guiu, or even Samu Omorodion, will head out on loan this season depending on whether or not Chelsea land Victor Osimhen or another frontman!
