Chelsea are getting down to business now in this final week of the transfer window, but one major situation that needs to be solved sounds like it might still take some time.
Chelsea are trying to sell a number of players before the window closes shut on this coming Friday, and there are even rumours circulating that Chelsea might bring two more new players in as well.
EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea player offered to Nottingham Forest, Sterling ready to drop wages, New ST & CB push, Plus loads more – Plans for last days of the window: plenty of names in here 👀
So unless things are moving behind the scenes and are further along that anything that is being reported right now, Chelsea have A LOT of work to do.
One situation that is quite a big one to sort out is Raheem Sterling, who has been taken out of any recent squads and first team training sessions and has basically been told he should probably leave the club this window.
Not easy to sort out
Chelsea will present options to Raheem Sterling this week.
Sterling is open to #MUFC, should a move materialise, but all still early stages. Sterling hasn’t yet engaged with any clubs directly.

As you can see above, journalist Ben Jacobs says there is a lot to sort out here before Sterling can move clubs or something can be sorted out either way.
Jacobs says:
“Chelsea will present options to Raheem Sterling this week. Sterling is open to Manchester United, should a move materialise, but all still early stages. Sterling hasn’t yet engaged with any clubs directly. Internal talks with Chelsea key since there are obstacles to overcome between both parties before Sterling talks to potential new clubs.”
Sounds like an interesting situation that needs some working out and talking between all parties involved. I can see him ending up at United to be honest.
