Chelsea are reportedly now interested in a striker who has a high release clause yet will be able to leave in the summer for €60-70m.
As you will know, The Blues have been heavily linked with a number of potential new strikers in recent years and despite the form of Nicolas Jackson so far this season, are still likely to be looking to bring in another striker in one of the next transfer windows.

It is Victor Osimhen of Napoli, currently on loan with Galatasaray, who has been most heavily linked with Chelsea, and they even tried to sign him in the summer window just gone. However, he for whatever reason that move did not transpire and Osimhen ended up heading to Turkey on loan instead.
Chelsea were thought to be looking at a move to sign Osimhen in January. However, the player has now ruled out leaving his loan club this winter and Chelsea will have to wait until the summer should they wish to proceed with a move to sign the striker.
Gyokeres on the radar
Chelsea have also been previously linked with Sporting striker Viktor Gyokeres, and they are now being linked with him once again.
Sky Germany are reporting that despite a release clause being set at €100m for the striker, there is an agreement that Gyökeres can leave Sporting next summer [2025] for €60-70m, which is of course significantly lower than his high release clause.
The report as well, it confirms that a winter move is not currently planned, but a move in the summer is now looking likely, with Manchester City, Arsenal, Liverpool, and Chelsea the most interested clubs.
To be honest, if Ruben Amorim goes to manage Manchester United, I can only see Gyokeres joining him there at the end of this season.
