Chelsea have received a boos for a defender they are reportedly keen in signing in the near future, as a club source confirms they are likely to sell.
Chelsea are continuing to be linked with a number of players as we approach the upcoming January transfer window. I don’t expect too much to be happening in the winter window for Chelsea, but I can see them perhaps going to try for a new centre back.

The left back area is another area they could be looking at as well, and interestingly, the player in question here can play as a left back or a centre back, or a mix between the both.
Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool are all apparently interested in Ajax defender Jorrel Hato.
It looks like he could soon become available as well, with Ajax sources not confident of keeping hold of the youngster.
“I’m afraid that next summer, we will lose him,” a senior Ajax source supposedly told The Athletic.

A previous report from The Athletic has linked Hato as a target for Arsenal, while journalist Graeme Bailey has previously reported on Liverpool being interested in him.
Chelsea are also apparently showing an interest in Hato, according to TEAMtalk.
The 18-year-old is a highly rated rising star, so that certainly fits Chelsea’s recruitment strategy we have seen of late. And the fact that he can play in a few different positions as well would also make him appealing to Enzo Maresca and the club.
But we will have to wait and see if there is anything much in this or whether it is just another half-hearted link with Chelsea’s name thrown in there.
