Chelsea chief’s mention striker’s name in conversations to move their own player out

Chelsea’s recruitment chief’s have reportedly mentioned the name of a potential new striker target in conversations earlier this week.

The Blues played football last night and had a game to concentrate on, managing to beat Wolves 3-1 at home to get back on track a little bit more.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea back in for Jhon Duran this month!!

But after the game, there was some pretty big news going down that would have excited a few Chelsea fans at least, because it would involve them finally signing a striker with a different profile to Nicolas Jackson.

The news came out suggesting that Chelsea were now considering making a move to sign Juventus player Dusan Vlahovic, a name they have been linked with many times before now.

Although pretty much as soon as this news came out, it was then rubbished by transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, who says Chelsea do not have Vlahovic on their list.

So what is going on?

Vlahovic is constantly linked with Chelsea

Well, a report from TBR Football today is probably the most likely scenario of the two here.

They claim that despite reports suggesting Chelsea are considering a move for Dusan Vlahovic this month, sources have told them that his name was mentioned in conversations with Juventus but nothing more, at this stage. These conversations were regarding a possible move for Renato Veiga to join Juventus this month.

The report also claims that all options remain open to Chelsea this month with the need for a top centre-forward at some stage pretty evident.

We certainly need to sign a top centre forward and to be honest, Vlahovic on a loan to buy deal, if that was even possible, would actually be a very smart move for us if we went for it. But it doesn’t sound like there is yet to be anything at all in this one.

  1. Actually managed to win last night. Still have my doubts about consistency, but now not impressed with the coach. Making mistakes now, last week against Bournemouth subs came on after 80 mins, what good is that, any good coach would have made changes when their second goal went in at 69 mins, giving subs at least time to get into the match. Now using unrealiabe Santches will lose more points, and for Christ,s sake drop Jackson could not hit a barn door. How many times have I said if he had only scored one of his dozens of misses the club would be in second place in the league.

  2. The board are concentrating on profits…. The directors play too much playstation FIFA . They should buy a striker right now and CB . And the manager should have use Guiu often in front or try to experiment madueke upfront . Jackson I don’t think he will improve his scoring . Maresca not good enough to manage . Chelsea FC needs 3 man midfield to play if they are playing 4 at back . They need someone to play with caceido to help the back . As I said switch gusto or cucu in central midfield and play James at his usual position and play veiga in the left or colwill . Or bring up academy player from the academy Samuel ishe smith . Or acheampong alongside caceido to solidify the central midfield. Enzo play attack in the middle. Lavia reserved his prone to injury he needs man management as will as Reece . Maresca should not be stubborn its time to promote Jorgensen to develop him in playing the physical games of premier league. The boards need to act now this month to get striker and world class CB . Bring back petrovic.

  3. Yes agreed to it he jackson has no potential gone it time for other striker to shine but he sticks to jackson he is not good enough for dribble.after costa chealse had not got a good striker whome they can trust.and till now they should have signed a centre back whose have premium league experience .if they want to stay in champions league.thank you
