Fabrizio Romano calls Chelsea’s first big ‘here we go’ of the January transfer window

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has called a late night ‘here we go’ and amazingly, it’s Chelsea first big one of this January transfer window.

Other than a million transfer rumours of Chelsea pondering this and considering that, it’s been very quiet for the first 23 days of the window in terms of actually getting deals done. So if Chelsea really do want to sell a host of players who they reportedly want out such as a Ben Chilwell for example, and other names like midfielder Carney Chukwuemeka as well, then they are going to have to act and work fast in the remaining 8 days of the window.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea back in for Jhon Duran this month!!

However, with all of that said, they have now finally got the ball rolling with Romano calling the first done deal of January for Chelsea late on Wednesday evening.

And that is Renato Veiga, who only joined the club six months ago, already departing to Juventus on loan for the rest of the season.

The versatile defender/midfielder will now spend the rest of the season in Serie A.

Romano says:

‘Juventus agree deal with Chelsea to sign Renato Veiga, here we go!

‘Loan deal for €5m loan fee until June, no buy option clause — and then player back to Chelsea at the end of June for Clubs’ World Cup.

‘Veiga, expected to play as CB at Juventus.’

Concerning that a player who was only signed in the summer already wants to give up in search of more regular football. I mean, what was said to him when he signed? Was he under the impression that he would be playing more? Where is his patience? Where is Chelsea’s long-term squad building? None of this sits too well with me I am afriad.

  1. That’s good for veiga …. Seria A is technical league if his successful good for Chelsea FC …. And if he can back hope maresca will play him so often .

  2. ITS A GOOD OPTION FOR RENATO VEIGA. WHAT CHELSEA NEED RIGHTNOW IS TO SELL THE UNWANTED PLAYERS AND BUY A GOAL KEEPER LIKE DIEGO COSTA OF FC PORTO, A SOLID CENTRE BACK, AND A KILLER STRICKER LIKE VICTOR OSIMHEN. ALSO SELL ROMEAO LAVIA, & LOAN GUIU.

  3. thats a good thing for our defender, he is good and all he need is time on the pitch so he can improve technically
