David Beckham of Inter Miami

EXCLUSIVE: David Beckham registers interest in signing Chelsea player this summer

MLS side Inter Miami have registered an interest in signing one Chelsea player in the summer transfer window at the end of this season.

The Blues will have plenty of players who will still need to be sold at the end of the season after what was a very poor January transfer window from the club.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea have laid down ground work in deal to sign striker BEFORE Club World Cup!

The transfer window closed a couple of weeks back now and it was a very bland and strange one for Chelsea. They only made one signing and he is a player who is just expected to play as a deep backup option this season and then probably go on loan in the summer.

Other than that, Chelsea just loaned a bunch of players out with the only permanent one being Cesare Casadei to Torino in the end.

Inter Miami, who are part-owned by former Manchester United and England star David Beckham, are keen on signing one of Chelsea’s players who they will be looking to sell at the end of the season.

Our writer Simon Phillips has the exclusive drop on this story via his Substack website this morning.

Phillips says:

‘SPTC sources have heard that the club are already trying to source a permanent move away for Raheem Sterling, who may have to accept a move abroad if he wants to continue earning the biggest wages possible.

‘Sterling is a family man and likes to be close to his family, so it will be interesting to see how open he will be to moving away from London.

‘Sources have heard that interest has been registered from clubs in Saudi, China, and America.

‘We have also heard that David Beckham’s Inter Miami will make a move for Sterling in the summer if they receive enough encouragement from the player’s camp.’
