Fabrizio Romano’s columns for GiveMeSport are always full of really juicy Chelsea information, and this week is no different.
As well as making clear how strong the support for Enzo Maresca from the ownership is, the insider also went into some detail on the players and how they’ve taken to their new manager over his first 9 months in charge.
It feels like just yesterday that Maresca was taking his first training sessions, but we’re already into the final quarter of his first season in charge, and the best piece of evidence that the club are planning for a long future with him is the fact that he’s apparently already heavily involved for planning this summer.
“Chelsea have already started involving Maresca in their transfer plan for the summer window as many decisions will be made ahead of the Club World Cup due to start in June,” Romano explained.
“It’s about new signings, young players to send on loan or keep at the club, players who have to leave the club in the summer, positions to cover and specific players to bring in. The conversation with the manager is crucial and Maresca has been involved in the initial planning for the summer.”
Chelsea get into gear ahead of another important summer

We do hope they’re not getting ahead of themselves – there’s a lot of season left to be played. As a very defined “head coach,” Maresca’s role in deciding these things is minor, albeit crucial.
One of the issues with our revolving door of managers in recent years has been that each successive coach has not been able to see their personal desires in terms of the construction of the squad enacted. Maresca should be the first coach since Thomas Tuchel to be able to build on his first season by getting to work with his bosses on building a new squad together.
Sir what is the problem
We need a new sticker for the club Chelsea,I have been Chelsea since childhood when Didier Drogba was still playing for the club.
We also need a goal keeper and good defenders.
