“After Liam Delap” – Fabrizio Romano hints at two new strikers arriving at Chelsea

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has hinted that two new strikers could arrive at Chelsea during the summer transfer window.

This news comes after Chelsea beat Real Betis to win the Conference League on Wednesday night after being a goal down at half time and turning it around.

EXCLUSIVE! Chelsea now eyeing move to sign another Manchester City first team attacker!

The Blues ended up winning the game 4-1 in the end after a bit of a Cole Palmer masterclass in the second half, providing two beautiful assists for his team mates to grab crucial goals.

Although head coach Enzo Maresca is once again not willing to get carried away after this by insisting that Chelsea’s target for next season is not going to be winning the Champions League!

Chelsea signing Delap

Chelsea will complete the signing of Liam Delap from Ipswich Town this week as Romano confirmed the deal will be announced later today and a medical has been booked.

But Delap might not be the only new striker arriving at Chelsea this summer, with Romano admitted there is a chance that the club look to sign another one as well.

Romano on new strikers

The transfer reporter put out his latest YouTube video last night, and he has this to say on new strikers at Chelsea this summer:

“After Liam Delap, it will depend on opportunities. Chelsea and Liverpool are informed on Hugo Ekitike and there will be contacts with both clubs in the next days.

“Chelsea remains interested in the situation of Ekitike, but it’s not something advanced. No big changes this week, but next week we will understand more.”

An interesting situation that could soon develop over the coming days. Imagine if Chelsea signed two strikers!? Wow!

  1. Having signed Delap, maybe signing someone like Joao Pedro makes sense. There as a back up striker who can also fill in other positions across the forward line as needed.

If other strikers are being looked at, then I assume that doesn’t bode particularly well for Jackson.

  2. Hello Simon. Could you spare us the agony and monotony of having to read the same stuff in your next paragraphs after the first ones, please.

  3. They should also buy for us a good goalkeeper because we can’t rely on Sanchez when we are in CL. Then we need a back up for Cucurella, and then a good center back that can pattern Levi Colwill, by otherwise, if we don’t do that, we shall not even pass through the group stages of CL next season

  4. Get Nico William or rodrygo after Delap . Another striker sesko or ekitike . Jackson will be playing in the wing . His a dribbler and fast and can assist too . Don’t forget to sign two CBs solid center back with decent height . Jorell Hato is one of them , his versatile . And a goalkeeper too . This team needs strong full squad plenty games to play . Too many tournaments to play for . Also get another skillful center midfield , the four CMs needs to rest . Rotation needed . Good luck to the new coming season and God bless to my favourite club Chelsea FC .

  5. We need two strong center back and a striker like legend Drogba, at midfield Coch should try partner caicedo with lavia because the have the energy to disrupt any counter attacks and win possession

  6. Chelsea must go get victor Osimhen! It’s been a long time we had prolific striker of such magnitude after the likes of drogba and Diego Costa. We need players that can give confidence to the team in whatever competition. Buying of younger talents is not bad, but we need More experience players whose presence can bring threats to opponents, players that are very much interested to watch, players that can even make match officials officiate with much care. The list goes on

  7. It’s imperative Chelsea reignited the drogba spirit back to Stamford brigade by signing Osimeh who is more proven striker any other ones we have eyes on. We also need back to Cucurella, CB & CM as well because so much to play for the ne up coming season.

  8. Osimhems wage demands are far too high, I doubt Chelsea will sign him, he will probably go to Saudi and make a fortune.
