Chelsea needed to win this game as much as Newcastle did, but a first half sending off by Nicolas Jackson did not help their cause. Enzo Maresca has admitted that Jackson now needs to learn from this situation moving forward.
Sky Sports pundit Jamie Carragher now believes that Chelsea have a big problem after this defeat with just two games remaining of the season and the reality being that The Blues need two wins to guarantee a place in the Champions League for next season.
Chelsea in for new wingers
The Blues are still being linked with new wingers for the summer transfer window, with players such as Jamie Gittens the one mentioned the most.
But there are also other players on Chelsea’s transfer shortlist, and one name that does not seem to go away is Nico Williams of Bilbao.

Williams to Chelsea still possible
According to an exclusive by TBR Football today, Williams’ people are insisting that the winger is willing to move to England this summer.
They also say that Williams remains uncommitted to this point, even if his camp are saying that a Premier League switch could happen.
And then finally, the report confirms that Chelsea have held recent talks with the player’s camp, leaving the door open to a potential move.
Nico Is A Good One, But I Want To Contribute To That Chelsea Loss You Know Maresca Should Be Blame And He Shouldn’t Because He Made A Mistake By Playing Caicedo As A Two, He Is Not A Number 2 A Defensive But If He Want To Be Playing Lavia, He Should Change The Formation To 3 5 2
Goalie:Sanchez
Defense:Chalobah,Colwill,Cucurella
Midfield:James,Lavia,Enzo,Caicedo,Madueke
Strikers:Neto And Palmer Try This Formation Against Man Utd, So Maresca Needs To Talk To His Player Next Season He Should Sign Before I Say This Chelsea Need To Spend Money On Quality Players If Not The Club Can’t Succeed, All The Time He Is Sign Young Players That Waste Of Money Sign Gyokeres, Nico,Morgan,Rudiger, And Sell Maresca If You Again Want To Succeed Sell This Players No Matter How God There Are To You Not To The Club,Fans But To You I Said Sell Sanchez,Jackson(During That Match He Don’t Have Manner He Cost Chelsea And When He Was Jumping To Head The Ball He Even Look At His Opponent Before Jumping And Elbowing Him To Be Continue…
Am sorry my beloved Chelsea brother, the match against Newcastle that we lost is not Maresca fault but Nico Jackson caused our defeat.
You commented on Caicedo playing as a right back of which I criticized but in modern football; a defensive midfielder can be used as an inverted full back which allows him to operate in midfield as well & by doing so bringing more steel and balance to our midfield. You to give kudos to Caicedo B/c that task is very difficult & requires much energy. In my opinion that role could be what earned him the double awards (Chelsea best player of the season & Chelsea players best player of the season award)

That was only out of frustration we should no blame the young striker to avoid killing his confidence.
Jackson should be kept as a supporting striker to Victor oshimen or victor Gyokeres.
Maresca is a good manager he should be kept and be given quality players
Find a good left winger as a replacement for mykalo mudryk.
Sanchez should be sold and bring in a good goalkeeper
Chelsea predicted line-up
