Fabrizio Romano has been speaking about Dean Huijsen and Jorrel Hato to Chelsea on his latest ‘Here We Go’ Podcast this week.
The news comes after Chelsea beat Djurgarden 1-0 at Stamford Bridge on Thursday night in the return leg of their Conference League cup semi-final match, winning the overall tie 5-1 – setting up a cup final against Real Betis at the end of this month.

Midfielder Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall grabbed the only goal of the game and afterwards he says that him and his team mates really deserve credit for getting to the final, despite the competition not being the strongest one around.
Although Maresca has also hinted that he could end up breaking some hearts with his cup final starting team selection as he goes all out to try and win the final at the end of this month.
Chelsea searching for a new centre back

A new defender seems quite high on the list of transfer business that the Chelsea owners are looking to do in the summer transfer market.
We have seen many names linked in the last months, but the most consistent is Dean Huijsen of Bournemouth, who will be leaving his club this summer.
Jorrel Hato of Ajax is another name linked, and Fabrizio Romano has the latest on both of them.
Romano on his latest Podcast
Fresh from the latest Here We Go Podcast, Romano said on Huijsen:
‘Chelsea and other clubs are waiting for Dean Huijsen’s decision. Chelsea and Liverpool also have Jorrel Hato on their list if they don’t get Huijsen.’
Interesting comments and those are the only two defenders he mentioned.
I think Chelsea should focus on that dean and ghokeres as striker and get deals done quickly.
