It’s a direct response to the instant backlash online created by the news of the deal’s collapse.
Honestly, if they’re going to be this flagrant about it, why not just come out and make statements themselves? We’d respect their straightforwardness a lot more. Either ignore it, or address it. This cowardly halfway house makes everyone look bad.

Indeed, really surprised about the leaders in Chelsea. Supporters make a club great. What we want is an experience goal keeper and a proven striker. How do you buy a good goal keeper below £15,000 when you bought some deadwood way above the asking price.

I even don’t understand these sporting directors, they have turned the club into Man City and Brighton annex. Why? Every linked player and backroom staffs is either a Brighton or a Man City student.
