Chelsea have apparently now put a transfer valuation on Nicolas Jackson’s head as one journalist details the ‘most concerning part’.
It’s not exactly blown up with big Chelsea transfer news but this is probably because at the moment the club have been concentrating on playing in the Club World Cup.
I’m fully convinced Chelsea will go for a goalkeeper still this window but it is something that will happen later on in the window. And despite the Mike Maignan thing consistently being played down now, I can still see Chelsea going back for him.
There is also a situation bubbling up with Andrey Santos, who will be disappointed not to have played yet for Chelsea in the Club World Cup and will surely be weighing up his own future right now. The Santos noise is soon going to start increasing.
Chelsea hope for patience from Santos
Santos is going to be upset with his lack of minutes but Chelsea are hoping that he is going to be patient with it,
A report from The Guardian over the weekend suggests it is to be hoped that Santos, who has been linked with Bayern Munich, is ready to be patient. Getting no minutes against Flamengo will be a disappointment given that the Brazil international played for their great rivals, Vasco da Gama, but it is important to maintain perspective.
Santos is still a newcomer, after all, and will surely be given an opportunity to prove that he can compete with Enzo Fernández.
Jackson in trouble

Nicolas Jackson meanwhile, has a big question mark over his head at Chelsea now after his latest sending off.
The Athletic wrote on it that the most concerning part of Nicolas Jackson’s apology statement was the admission that he still does not fully understand how the Flamengo red card happened.
And according to Fabrizio Romano, Chelsea value Nicolas Jackson at between €55-60m, which is around £50m.
Santos doesn’t need to compete with Enzo Fernandez but they can play together . All CFc needs is to replace the manager who has not good managing the team . His one dimensional manager . That’s why some players they called it all bored . If the owner likes to win the EPL and UCL , they must replace the current manager, he BORE the players through his tactics and destroying their confidence . Overall he is destroying the team . Instead of offloading player because he doesn’t like , he is the one must to go . Santos is very good player and skillful talented player and he plays, something wrong with that Muppet manager who is the puppy
Plus the the two SD .
The last thing we need is yet ANOTHER manager. Maresca has done well and we can expect this young group to continue to grow under his tutelage provided we get a couple more key components (like a world class keeper) brought in. But the absolute last thing we need right now is to press the “reset” button by bringing another manager. Chelsea would have had ar least twice as many trophies over the last 25 years if the ownership (and the fans) had been less trigger-happy/hysterical around management changes. No CFC manager in the last 50 years has lasted as long as Pep at City or Klopp did at Liverpool. Even Arteta has now served a longer tenure at Arsenal than any Chelsea manager in living memory and we’ve paid a heavy price for all the instability. It would be foolish to continue shooting ourselves in the proverbial foot with yet another change after a mere 12 months.
Are you really happy watching boring, pedestrian, possession football? And we will loose players like Palmer and Enzo who are obviously and understandably unhappy being shackled by Maresca.
Enzo has not been shackled by Maresca at all, of anybody in the team he has been THE most indulged player! HE should have been the one moved on, to keep Gallagher, who showed him up, long before Maresca! Only in the last 6 months has he been putting in decent performances with one or two outstanding. He now has a fight on his hands, IF Santos is given a fair chance. Palmer(and Noni!) has to learn to deal with being a marked man but needs help from the coach and better support from his teammates, like “Chopper” Harris & Webb, used to give Osgood, Cooke & Hudson or Makel & Terry used to give Drogba & Hazard, so they could play THEIR game! In reality, Jackson has been flogged to death, in a new role, sacrificing himself for the team with little support. Their should be 2 up front(or a Liverpool 3 with him in the Firmino role…by the way Jackson has consistently out-performed Firmino, Drogba, Anelka, Salah etc, in their first 2 seasons and none of those played alone up front! These guys need & deserve far better experienced, coaching support rt, in order to excel & should NOT be looking over their shoulders or threatened with being sold every week, they should be developed and allowed to blossom, not treated like show ponies or used & shut out like pit ponies!
