Former Chelsea midfielder says Blues “would be mad” not to sign this player

A former Chelsea midfielder has said that Chelsea ‘would be mad’ not to take a look at signing a player very soon.

As we have the January transfer window approaching now, we are going to be seeing more and more transfer talk building up now.

EXCLUSIVE! Real Madrid readying Enzo Fernandez offer and we can reveal the SIX replacements Chelsea are looking at!

I honestly don’t think that Chelsea are going to be doing too much business this winter window to be honest, but there might be some bits and pieces bubbling away. I don’t think they will be trying to sign Kenan Yildiz from Juventus for example, even though there are more fresh links out with him and Chelsea today.

And it doesn’t sound like Chelsea are going to be on the hunt for a new goalkeeper in January either and may not even be looking to sign one in the summer window, and this is because they are putting all their faith in young Mike Penders coming up through the ranks on loan at Strasbourg this season.

But a new centre back might be a possibility for Chelsea in the January window due to injuries etc, and former Chelsea midfielder Gus Poyet wants them to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace.

Poyet told Sports Mole: “Guehi is a top centre back. He has now proven himself at the international level, playing superb for Crystal Palace and winning the FA Cup and Community Shield will only enhance his credentials.

“He is proving to be a model professional, well-spoken, respected by his teammates and well-educated as well.

“He is assured, he is becoming a leader in his own way, and absolutely, Chelsea would be mad not to look at taking him in their team. This is the type of player who elevates the team.”

  1. If guehi wants to comeback to Chelsea FC . It’s good to see chalo him and Colwill playing together for Chelsea FC which 3 of them are graduates plus promote ishe Samuel Smith to be understudy of cucu for LB . Imagine seeing the club winning the EPL and UCL and CWc with those graduates from the academy playing with Chelsea FC . That’s sound the success of the club investment in club academy . They will save money plus they can be profitable by investing more for young talents to develop there .

  2. I think, it will be great, if Chelsea resign marc Guehi, he is good, strong and creative, if Enzo leave to Real Madrid, Acheapond and badiashe are also good in that position. I love badiashe, because he’s creative in midfield and he can give good passes, same to acheapond, he has a driving spirit, but still lacks control, they are good. I believe we can all the trophies with them, mostly DM Guehi should be added to the squad.
