It is, of course, Pedro Neto. The Portugal winger has established himself as one of Enzo Maresca’s absolute favourites in his two years since arriving at Chelsea. He’s not perfect – we’d love some more composure in the final third, but he’s a really hard working and disciplined player who stretches the game with his pace and we can see exactly why the manager likes him so much.
The fact that he can play on both sides also adds a lot to his utility – we see him go both sides in games.
He’s been called our “unsung hero”, and while that may be going a little far, he certainly doesn’t get as much recognition from the wider footballing world as he deserves.
