Chelsea have never completely ruled out re-signing Antonio Rudiger according to reports, with the defender out of contract at the end of the season.
Rudiger left Chelsea on a free back in 2022 after making 203 appearances for the club and joined Spanish giants Real Madrid.
The 32-year-old has made 157 appearances for Los Blancos, but given his contractual status questions are being asked about his future.
Chelsea haven’t ruled out resigning Antonio Rudiger
Spanish outlet Marca have reported Rudiger has no shortage of suitors with clubs from Saudi Arabia interested in his services.
The report also adds Chelsea have never completely ruled out re-signing the German international, and they maintain contact with his representatives, who they have a good relationship with.

However, Marca do state Rudiger’s desire is to continue with Madrid, although talks of a renewal are currently on hold.
Chelsea lost Levi Colwill to an ACL injury before the start of the season, and despite public pleas from Enzo Maresca for a new centre back his wish wasn’t granted.
It’s been reported Chelsea are unlikely to sign a new centre back in January, but next summer is likely to be different and there could be an overhaul of the centre back department.
Enzo Maresca doubles down on centre back rotation
Having lost Colwill, Maresca hasn’t settled on a preferred centre back pairing, and has often changed it from game to game.
The Blues have struggled for consistency at the back and have made a number of defensive errors leading to goals this season.
Wesley Fofana isn’t ready to play more than once a week currently, whilst Tosin and Trevoh Chalobah have made errors this season.
Josh Acheampong has impressed, but he’s now not featured for the last two games, whilst Benoit Badiashile is still injured and could return after the international break.
