Nottingham Forest midfielder Elliot Anderson is one of the players on Chelsea’s radar according to journalist Ben Jacobs.
The Blues once again heavily invested in the squad last summer, and made five new attacking signings as they totally revamped their frontline.
However, with the January window now open, Chelsea have inevitably been linked with a number of players, but it’s reportedly going to be a quiet window.
Chelsea have Elliot Anderson on their radar
With Enzo Maresca no longer in charge, it will be interesting to see if the next manager gets any money to spend in January.
The Blues have been linked with a number of midfielders including Kees Smit and Darryl Bakola, but whether they move for either this month is unclear.

Chelsea are believed to have made a new midfielder a priority this summer, largely due to Romeo Lavia’s injury issues, and Jacobs has provided an update on transfer targets.
“Elliot Anderson is one of the players on their radar,” he said as quoted on X.com.
“Adam Wharton is appreciated. Those are expected to be summer sagas [as well as] possibly another defender.
“But I think Chelsea would be quite happy with a quiet January and then to do the vast majority of their business in the summer.”
Anderson is having a brilliant season with Forest, and is likely to have interest from a number of clubs, with the same almost certainly the case for Adam Wharton.
Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha arriving in the summer
Whilst we wait and see which midfielder will arrive, Chelsea already have two deals wrapped up well in advance of the summer window.
Geovany Quenda will arrive from Sporting Lisbon to provide another option on the wing, whilst Emmanuel Emegha will give another option at centre forward.
Quite what impact the two will have remains to be seen, but Chelsea really need more proven quality if they are to compete at the top end of the table.
