Enzo Maresca left his job as Chelsea coach this week, putting everything into a mess right at the busiest time of year.
A new coach is going to be appointed soon, but in the meantime the players are going to have to step up and take responsibility. Pedro Neto, one of the more experienced players in the squad, stepped up to speak to the media about the whole situation.
“The mood has to be positive. Football is like this and the only thing we can do is to be with a positive mindset for the next game to win it,” Neto said in a chat with the club’s official website in the aftermath of Maresca’s departure.
How McFarlane handled first Chelsea training session

He also explained a little about what it had been like for poor Calum McFarlane, who stepped up from the Under-21s to coach the first team:
“That’s what Calum did. He came to training with a positive mindset, with a lot of attitude, and that is what he asks of the players as well. This is what we have to do to win the game on Sunday.
“If we beat Man City we make a big statement that we are here and we will continue to fight for our purpose and for our goals. This is what we have to do. We are at Chelsea, we want to win trophies, we want to be at the top of the league, so we have to work for it.”
That’s a lot of talk – we’ll see how it translates on the pitch tomorrow.
In other news…
David Datro Fofana is finally at a club where he’s playing and scoring regularly, and he decided to take the chance to apologise to Chelsea fans for not being able to show them his best in his time at the club.
Raheem Sterling needs to leave Chelsea to get his career going again, but right now the combination of his desire to stay in London and his high wages, plus Chelsea’s decision to only allow him to move on a permanent deal, is making it impossible to see where he might go.

Why humiliate him? What crime did he commit? Press should be more professional
We want an experience Coach xavi or fabrighas pliz
Chelsea is already a Football Club icon , so needs a Quality Coach not an experimental stooge.
Every player has his limitations These limitations are to be consciously improved the and players the coach for the benefits of the team Being aware of where to be and how to help teammates games routine Sometimes I don’t see these attributes in our players Some players are selfish and this kills teamwork and spirits .It is a pity we are in this mess at this point in time
Sometimes to humiliated someone is not nice first lets wait and see what he can do on the field by there we can start to judge him not by the training station and another thing is players think theirs big because the got big names and coach come from under 21 that why but Enzo was there what he do just come to mess and winnings trophies by like run away let’s be patient and see tonight with man city ,Pedro neto just talk to much
Chelsea have to rethink about this under 21 coach he is a genius coach .Give him the chance until the end of the season he can beat any team in Premier league
