Raheem Sterling has rejected an approach from West Ham and hopes Fulham step up interest in him according to reports.
The England international failed to secure a move away in the summer, and has been part of the now infamous “bomb” squad since returning from a disappointing loan at Arsenal last season.
Sterling reportedly had interest from as many as five clubs, but his preference to remain in London made a move difficult.
Raheem Sterling wants to move to Fulham
Sterling hasn’t played any football since last season, and will understandably be very short of match fitness considering his lack of playing time.
With the January window now open the Blues will be hoping to find a solution just to get his reported wages in excess of £300,000 per week off their books.

There hasn’t been much interest in the winger, but West Ham are reportedly interested in Sterling, and The Times have provided an update.
They report Sterling has rejected an approach from the Hammers, and is hoping Fulham step up their interest in him.
Sterling wants an permanent exit and is only open to leaving on loan if there’s an obligation to buy included in the deal.
Axel Disasi attracting interest from multiple clubs
Whilst Sterling has attracted some interest, Axel Diasi has attracted interest from multiple clubs and is expected to leave this month.
Disasi has featured for the under-21s to try and keep match fit, but the 27-year-old can’t join an international side on loan as Chelsea have used all their slots.
The Frenchman has reportedly been offered to Barcelona, whilst French sides Lyon and Paris FC are also keeping an eye.
Roma are believed to have entered into negotiations over a permanent move for Disasi, and it would be a surprise if he didn’t leave Chelsea this month.
