According to a report this week, Chelsea are interested in signing a composed former Real Madrid centre back.
The centre back area is one part of the pitch that many believe that Chelsea still need to sign in – so there are plenty of names being linked right now.

We are currently in the January transfer window but the reality is, we don’t think Chelsea are going to be doing too much in the transfer market until the summer window. Anything can happen though, of course.

Chelsea looking at Ramon
According to a report from Caught Offside, Chelsea are one of the clubs keen on Como centre back Jacobo Ramón.
They say that Ramón, who joined Como from Real Madrid last summer, has quickly stood out as a composed, technically gifted centre-back with exceptional reading of the game.
Real Madrid have a buyback option on the 21-year-old defender, but they say Chelsea consider him a long-term investment who fits their youth-focused recruitment strategy and could develop into a future Premier League leader.
Seems like it’s in Real Madrid’s hands then really.
