Transfer deadline day goes on at Chelsea, with deal sheets now in for two players after the passing of the initial deadline.
It’s been a quiet day overall, but it looks like there could still be some after-hours action.
Double deal sheets hang in the balance for Blues

BBC Sport’s Chelsea writer Nizaar Kinsella has the news on two deals we’ve been waiting for all day.
Axel Disasi is heading to West Ham on loan, as has been rumoured for days. But the two clubs have still been forced to submit a “deal sheet” because nothing has been finalised by the 19.00 GMT deadline.
Tyrique George’s move to Everton has come later and seems harder to do as there is a apparently a buy option in there.
“There will be an anxious wait as the paperwork needs to be completed before 21:00 GMT or risk seeing the two moves collapse,” Kinsella points out.
It would be brutal if either did collapse, especially as both have had numerous deals in the last year come close and fail. There is no point keeping them in the squad now, and it would have been far better if outgoing loans had been done at the start of this month.
In other news…
One deal which has been done is the termination of Mamadou Sarr’s loan to Strasbourg, bringing him back to Chelsea. It’s expected that Aaron Anselmino, himself recently recalled from a loan, will now go the other way. Sarr’s status in the Chelsea squad isn’t yet know.
Tomorrow’s game against Arsenal has a lot of uncertainty around the lineups, and the fact that Liam Rosenior had to take his press conference early didn’t help that. You can read his comments about Estevao and Jamie Gittens in the post here.
