Chelsea centre back Benoit Badiashile is now rated as “very likely” to be out of the Blues’ project ahead of the summer window.
The Blues are already being linked to possible new summer transfer targets and actually, I’ve had info on a huge shortlist of players that they are courting ahead of the summer window, which I have been releasing exclusively on my website over the last 7 days or so.
As well as this, Chelsea have been strongly linked with former Manchester City striker Julian Alvarez this week, with reports suggesting they are advancing to sign him after holding positive talks with his reps.
As always with the summer window though, we will be hearing all sorts of rumours and stories in the lead up to it, so we will have to wait and see what happens in the summer as to where we will be at with Chelsea’s squad come the end of it.
There has also been fresh Chelsea links to Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa, a player who is consistently linked with The Blues and Fabrizio Romano is now teasing a potential move again with this fresh story.
Badiashile to go?

According to a report from Caught Offside this weekend, Benoit Badiashile is now rated as “very likely” to be out of the Blues’ project as transfer suitors emerge ahead of the summer.
Interest is named as coming in from AC Milan, Juventus, and Marseille ahead of the summer window, as he’s set to be made available for around €35m this summer.
Chelsea consider Badiashile out of their project and will ideally look to sell him permanently rather than loaning him out.
Never been good enough
I’ve never overly rated Badiashile and I don’t believe he has ever been good enough to be playing at the heart of The Blues defence. I think it will be good to move him on now and I’m surprised he lasted this long.

I hope the Chelsea owners are learning from lack of judgement when it comes to buying players, there has been so much time , energy and money wasted on players who just were not good enough to wear the blue jersey. Then of course there were the
players who were never really given a fair crack of the whip like Renato Veiga all be it a profit was made . For success we need to buy proven quality especially in defence and yes of course it will cost a little bit more, but it will be worthy in the longer term.
