Rosenior replaced Enzo Maresca at the start of the year, and has made a good start to life in the Stamford Bridge hot seat.

The 41-year-old has won eight of his 11 games, and remains unbeaten in the league with four wins and a draw, with Chelsea currently sat in fifth place.

Chelsea have certainly looked much better from an attacking point of view under Rosenior, although defensively there is room for improvement.

The Blues have managed just three clean sheets in Rosenior’s 11 games, but have mainly been let down by individual errors.

Given Chelsea’s schedule Rosenior has had very little time to actually work on anything on the training pitch, given the main focus has been recovery.

However, Rosenior spoke of the importance of having a full week to prepare for Saturday’s game against Burnley.

Di Matteo was full of praise for the work Rosenior’s done, but warned the Englishman it’s a very high pressure job.

“I like his ideas about football,” he told Sky Sports News.

“He wants the team to dominate the ball, control the tempo, and be proactive rather than reactive.

“Chelsea fans will appreciate that if he can get the players fully on board and results start following.”

Chelsea job is high pressure

However, Di Matteo did warn the job is very high pressure, something Rosenior no doubt would have been aware of.

“It’s a big job, massive pressure at Chelsea, but he seems composed and has a clear vision,” he added.

“Let’s see how it develops over the coming weeks and months.”

  1. So far the gapper doing what is the best for the squad . He is trying to juggle the player’s playing time because most of them are talented . And most of the players are having a knock and still playing due to the pressure of winning every game as possible . Chelsea transfer needs a good negotiating system to acquire a skills and talents player’s . This club knows what sort of reinforcement they need to lift the EPL and UCL trophy for the club . They need to get a FA CBs player like senisi and buy a quality experience CB
RB , CMs , LWs , and a GK and if vlahovic is a available as FA get him . Yan diomande for the LW . Jackson should if both party wants to continue . Garnacho isn’t a winger , he likes to play as a second striker playing in the middle . Gitten needs to learn to defend , he has to watch cucu defending and learn from it . This summer coming quality young players coming in . Satpaev should be given a chance to play first team than being loan up .he has a pedigree to play top football matches . He plays champion league and he can do it . He might be the answers in LW positions upfront . He likes aquero / teves type of player . Quenda and emegha definitely ready for first team . Jess Derry is one to watch even Antwi from the academy loads of players has a quality depends on how the gapper given them chances to play regular playing time . God bless for the remaining season and God bless Chelsea FC .
