Chelsea are back to work at Cobham this week, with the mood still pretty sour after a run of four defeats put our Champions League hopes on life support.

There are still some positives to focus on, and Nizaar Kinsella of the BBC found one in the form of Ryan Kavuma-McQueen.

Kinsella says it’s “inevitable” that the attacker will “soon debut for Chelsea,” having passed his 17th birthday at the turn of the year. He’s been on the bench for a Champions League game, and has been mentioned by Liam Rosenior and Enzo Maresca in pressers.

His skill on the ball is superb, and it seems like he’s doing work in the more subtle parts of the game too. This piece says he’s being coached in off-the-ball movement, and has spoken to John Terry and Reece James about their mentality.

His debut could yet bring a bright spark to the final months of a rather grim season. That’s the levels of desperation we’re reaching at this point.

  1. Like I said before if player wants to leave let them go . No points of keep them not good for the team morale . If that’s their dreams let them have it , everyone has a dream . Player’s can be replace . What’s happening on the club are the wrong doing of the owners and some of the board’s member and sporting directors . Its obviously player’s aren’t happy , it’s been 4yrs still no EPL title and next season not guaranteed UCL and they way how they conduct recruitment and hiring head coach . Whoever the head coach is elite but the owners and SD not working on well the team/ club are the one suffering . The head coach and the owners and the boards of directors should align together for the future of the club . But the owners and boards of directors aren’t doing good things for the club , now theirs unrest in the dressing room . those rebels are the culprit of distabilising the team just because they wanted to leave . That’s the cause of losing games .. they so called professional footballer recieving good wages to feed their mouths but if they’re not happy , they cause trouble . They can freely leave but not makes this club bad . Whatever they concerned regarding about the owners and boards of directors management , they should be professional to play and win games for the team and club . That’s their responsibility for being a professional footballer in sports of football . Making noise using media that’s a wrong doing of uneducated person . I love the club but I’m not happy with the boards of sporting directors and the owners the way they run the club . This club should already lift the EPL trophy and never out in qualifying for UCL every season . …. But the vision of the management fails …. 4yrs and the team struggling every season . The recruitment not right , no balance of strengthening the team that can win the EPL and UCL ….. Every season signing kids and not ready to help the team to win the EPL . How long does to develop the player’s to help the team to become champion ….. The board’s of ownership should check and analyse if the sporting directors doing well with the Club . The two sporting directors failing the club ambition to be top club globally .
