You can mark your calendar now – it’s March 16th and we’ve just had our first Liam Rosenior sacking rumours, less than two months after he was appointed.
They come courtesy of the Sun, who translate reports from the French version of Sky Sports that Rosenior might not be in charge next season.
After a strong start, things have started to falter for the former Strasbourg boss, and defeats to PSG and Newcastle last week have harmed his reputation. The piece claims that there is a “desperate search for stability and results,” which has resulted in the continued crazy turnover of coaches.
Rosenior’s job is safe – but rumours tell you all you need to know
We wouldn’t put the smallest shred of faith in these reports – but the fact they exist at all tells you everything you need to know. The media never believed in Rosenior as an appointment, and haven’t waited long for their first chance to suggest he could be going.
Those doubts won’t take long to soak into the fans and the players if results don’t improve.
In other news…
Liam Delap’s last 34 shots for Chelsea in one compilation makes pretty painful viewing, let’s be honest.
Estevao Willian is back in Chelsea training, that’s the good news. The bad news is that two other players missed out on today’s session.

Poor decision making, time and time again this Blue co out fit really have no idea at all . I cannot understand why when taking over the football club they didn’t employ someone who knew the English game inside and out , go and get the best manager there is , not novices.
For all Abramovich’s faults you cannot knock his passion, dedication and love and the will for the club to succeed and continue to be successful. In the past if a manager lost 4 games on the trot he was history, the next manager would put us on a 10 game winning streak and we’d win the FA cup . This current crop of fools will tell us our manager will be great in 5 years time , will he ? Are you sure about that ? .
