Chelsea fans are going to hate what David Ornstein has said about the club in some quotes released on Sunday night.
The Athletic chief transfer reporter has some info and updates for Chelsea fans, but once again, he is telling us all to remain patient. Which of course, is completely farcical at this stage of the so-called ‘project’ that these owners have put together.

Fans are sick to death of constant briefings from the owners with wording such as this, and we have heard it all before. Telling fans that they are building an ‘elite’ team and to be patient whilst doing so and still not succeeding on the pitch, has grown completely tiresome for most of us and hearing it just makes us even more annoyed these days.
What Ornstein has said
In quotes provided by CFCDaily on X, Ornstein said:
“Reece James’ new contract at Chelsea means he joins the core of the likes of; Cole Palmer, Enzo Fernandez, Moises Caicedo being on deals at least until 2030 and some of them well into 2030’s.
“So what Chelsea feel they are building here is an elite, talented squad. Not only for the now but for the future as well. So some patience whether the fans like it or not will be required.”

The problem is the wrong vision of the owner’s . It good to invest in young players as long they’re ready to compete . They should buy a player that is physically ready to compete against mature man besides skills . The vision of the owners is a profit which should be in the pitch , winning the EPL and qualify for UCL and win it . Win the FA cup even a League cup and some prestigious tournament . But the way they run the club isn’t good . Group young players with skills against mature skills player’s the kid’s always lost . Time to re- adjust the policy of buying young player to ready skills player’s to compete to help the club to win the EPL and qualify for UCL and win it . There’s the profit comes for the club . Younger player’s with skills don’t help the club to win the title like EPL and UCL even FA cup and League Cup . Give rosenior a chance for next season but support him to buy a quality skillful player’s that are mature physically that helps the club win the EPL and UCL . From GK and buy two CBs that are mature physically even they’re in their teenage yrs because the club obsessed with young players . Bring CM and a LW with good dribbling skills and talents of crossing the ball ala Reece James cross with playmaking ability to unlock the park the bus style of the opposition and mature Striker with decent pace and physically strong to bulldozer the opposite defenders with strong mentality of scoring goals . Chelsea transfer next season will be a new GK then A FA CB and to buy CB then a CM with excellent quality playmaking skills and strong physically to help defensively from central midfield . Barco good addition but his physique and height does he ready for EPL worth a try to buy him . As I said play Acheampong in central midfield as a second pivot role . He has the ability to dribble the ball out of danger and he can develop his defensive skills by playing him at central midfield . Santos will be soon a elites player soon his physical development mature , he is the future . LW player needs Yan diomande to compete with garnacho . Gitten should be loan up to other English team to learn the fast pace and physical game of EPL . Then a Elite Striker and reduce a pay roll from SD because too much SD in the club .
