Former Chelsea midfielder Emmanuel Petit was on TalkSport this morning talking about the performances of some of the Blues players last night. Like the rest of us, he thinks they’ve given up:

“I’m convinced some of the top players don’t want to play for Chelsea anymore, you can see that on the pitch,” he said.

“If you want to leave, the best thing you can do is to play badly. Some of them are awaiting the end of the season just to leave the club.”

Danny Murphy agreed – the effort levels are not there, even when these humiliating statistic are piling up around them.

Chelsea repeat Graham Potter nightmare just a few years on

What’s so farcical is that this is just a perfect repeat of what happened under Graham Potter. That was before the initial clear out of legacy players – everyone in the squad now is a BlueCo purchase who signed up for this project. To have lost their faith too is truly embarrassing.

In other news…

Our writer Simon Phillips says that Rosenior has already said goodbye to his players, and that the club are looking for a replacement.

Kaveh Solhekol of Sky pointed to one clue that Rosenior could keep his job for a few more days at least – but we’re not buying it.

  1. Petit say’s it true …. Those rebellious players should leave the club . No room for un professional behaviour . The owners aka XL Bully and the poodle’s shall leave too . Stop hiring on base of data , look physically watch how the personality of the person conduct himself on managing the squad team and makes the players respect him . But the headcoach should have a strong personality with good man management skills to stop rebellious players ruining the club and causing problems in the dressing room . Get rid off those toxic players , no room to play for the club . The XL Bully owners should be able to get rid of the SD’s which fail to deliver the right track for success of the club . The XL Bullies should not turn their eyes off from failure of the SD’s . Those players should not be emotionally attach on maresca . Player’s should be professional enough to do their obligations to help the team move on and collectively work together for the success of themselves not individually but the entire team/ squad. Its their responsibility to win and be champion and qualify for UCL but because of their emotional egos ruin the team . Not Rosenior faults being there , the players should have help him to work together for competing with winning results but unfortunately the natives player’s egos and rebellion destroyed the squad and the team prospects of qualifying for UCL …. Player’s and XL Bully owners and boards of directors poodle’s are all to blame for the downfall of the club . Don’t blame the gapper for not qualifying for UCL nor no European football … Now that no European football for the club , everyone wants abandoned ship . Good luck to all on your future , karma will comes to haunt you all for good . Some of you disrespect the jersey and the badge…. To the XL Bully owners and poodle’s I know you won’t change because you all billionaires . Sorry to the Chelsea FC use to be elite and top club but now a laughing stock club . One of the XL Bully said they copy the systems of Man City but look at the results compared to them . Remove those directors specially the poodle’s and replace them with the right people to bring the back to the top .
