Football pundit Troy Deeney has told Chelsea that they should move to hire Andoni Iraola, although it could be too late.
It was announced earlier this week that Iraola is going to be leaving his role as head coach of Bournemouth at the end of the season and of course, this caused all sorts of speculation around where he might be going next and who might come in to replace him.

When talking about managers, Chelsea are always involved somewhere. I personally saw many Chelsea fans suggesting that the club should move Liam Rosenior out and bring Iraola in as his replacement this summer, and that is what Deeney is also suggesting.

Speaking on the Football Exchange, Troy Deeney reckons that Andoni Iraola could be a good move for Chelsea to make:
“I think he’d be great for Chelsea, but I don’t think he’s going to go there. My mind seems to think Athletic Club or somewhere in Spain where he would go, but he would be fantastic for this Chelsea team.
“They wouldn’t want to do it, because he’s organised and structured, very much defensive-minded, I would say.”

Chelsea are suffering as a team, and individually too. The stats for the season show a big decline in Blues performing at their best. Moises Caicedo has dropped from 6th to 66th now in one key stat.
Chelsea are looking likely to fall into the “Ten Hag Trap” of keeping Liam Rosenior even after it’s clear he’s not up to it. They’ve been warned about that this week.

I don’t think iraola will take because the owners and boards of directors are not good . This club should build Champion Club … Look at benfica they develop players then sale , they turn up mid table team no ambitions of winning the league . When they compete on UCL they’re not strong . They use to be top team but now selling club no ambitions . The owners of Chelsea FC looks like that . Buying young players then offloaded them . They don’t deserve to own Chelsea FC …. Chelsea FC is a Elite team, A Champion Club but this owners they turn this club for nothing , hiring not good football directors . They’re mentality are for Academy team instead for First Team to create a squad which are champion squad / Team . I am not a fan of maresca he destroyed the squad/ team . He fluke the conference league and CWC . Rosenior isn’t good for coaching world class players , his tactical skills not good enough for elite league / tournament . Too soon for him to head coach Chelsea FC . To me I want to see Felipe Luiz to be head coach of the club but I hope no interference from the owners and boards of directors how to manage the squad/ team . And he needs a support from the owners and boards of directors he needs to make the team / squad be champion every season the way Man City run . I hope they build the squad/ team be champion next season to season ahead . They should buy young players not only for skills but look on physical attributes for readiness in competitive league like EPL . And UCL too . They should invest in buying players in the right system to mix young to mature experience player . This club owners should listen to the fans and supporters , this club is elite Champion they need to upgrade their buying players . And hire the legit head coach to make the club champion again . McFarlane has a good tactical awareness though to young to handle the ego of this superstar effects attitude of the players . Keep him and nurture him as possible head coach for the future . Felipe Luiz and him good combo . They need to adapt a disciplinary method to the players . Remove destabilising attitude of the players . Make their mentality and hearts for the club to success . Work hard and play collectively to win not individual Glory . Next game try to play 3 at the back Fofana acheampong Hato back 3 . Wingback gusto cucu . Central midfield caceido Lavia , wingers Palmer Neto and jao the lazy upfront . If he plays back 4 he should play Acheampong alongside caceido and Lavia at the central midfield .
