Chelsea are drowning in a sea of criticism right now, with ESPN’s Julien Laurens going in on Liam Rosenior’s tactics.

Last night saw pundits across the board taking apart Chelsea’s performance against Man City. Julien Laurens on ESPN was particularly brutal in his assessment:
“Even ignoring the project – what are they trying to do on the football pitch? Today – they’re playing football to not lose. Today they set up to not lose. Against PSG in Paris they set up to not lose. Against Arsenal they set up to not lose. This is not Chelsea football club, this is not how this team should play.” Laurens said.
“I think Rosenior is a really good young coach… but he’s making too many mistakes and he’s out of his depth.”

Chelsea project looks lost from top to bottom
You won’t find many Chelsea fans who disagree with those statements. Even a flawed project should be able to produce better performances and results than we’ve seen recently, and it can’t all be blamed on bad sporting directors when what you see game to game is so poor.

Its look like the players are not really on with rosenior . The player’s are the one to blame for not having UCL next season . They are the one playing in the pitch . Chelsea is not strong for playing two pivot should be 3 pivot . Acheampong should be playing in central midfield alongside caceido/ Lavia or Santos . Gives height and his physical experience in playing English league . Santos is young and needs to build his physique because EPL is physical fast pace league . Even estavio . Essugo needs regular playing time now . Caceido not the same . Overall opinion they don’t like rosenior and the owners and boards of directors . The player’s aren’t performing on their very best at all . Palmer been check . Neto greyhound no improvement of creating chances . Santos and estavio needs to develop their built . Skills there but not physically competitive . Jao Pedro his pressing not good enough lazy to track back to help defensively . They’re all talented but not competitive enough to win the EPL and UCL . Some of the players are looking for the pay rise which they’re entitled too .. to rosenior mistakes yesterday was he should start with 3 central midfield ( caceido Lavia and Santos or Essugo or Acheampong ) then play Palmer at the LW and Neto at RW and lazy jao upfront . Palmer been readable when he plays at nos 10 position . This team needs a head coach that player’s fear and respect . And sign a player with physical strength ready for EPL with skills and good height . Especially in CB position to central midfield and striker. . they need height . And of course fast pace player . The new link rumour player to Chelsea Chris inao oulai looks good he can play multi position RB central midfield and have playmaking skills and can defend too with physical game . Will see if they can sign the right player’s for next season and makes us supporters and fans happy . I hope next season will be the real new beginnings for the club to lift the EPL trophy and qualify for UCL and win it . God Bless CFc .
