Reece James has expressed his delight at the return of Levi Colwill and believes he’s a huge addition to both the club and the team.

Colwill has been sidelined for the majority of the season having suffered an ACL injury last summer, but returned earlier this month in the defeat against Nottingham Forest.
The England international then started his first game against Liverpool at Anfield, where he played 90 minutes, and he also started and played 90 minutes in the FA Cup final defeat against Manchester City.

Despite impressing in his limited appearances since returning to action, Colwill was ultimately over looked by Thomas Tuchel for England’s World Cup squad.
The 23-year-old missed Chelsea’s win against Tottenham on Tuesday night, but Calum McFarlane has confirmed Colwill trained on Friday, ahead of Sunday’s game against Sunderland.
Colwill will have the whole summer off, which is hugely beneficial to the Blues ahead of next season, and since his return Chelsea have looked better both defensively and in their build up play.
James, who’s had his fair share of injury issues over the years, expressed his delight at Colwill’s return as he praised his quality.
“I know how good of a footballer he is, and what a great person he is,” he told Sky Sports.
“So now I’m happy he’s come back. He’s looking so strong, and he’s a huge addition to our club and the team when he’s on the field.”

Chelsea have reached an agreement with Strasbourg for midfielder Valentin Barco, who will join the club in June.
The 21-year-old becomes the third summer signing at Chelsea, with the Blues having previously agreed deals for Geovany Quenda and Emmanuel Emegha.

As a fan I want to see they get two CBs one from FA and one to buy . And promote Antwi from the academy as a deputy of James / gusto . He has a ability to cover those two as RB/ RWB and he can play at LW/RW too . Quenda / satpaev / emegha I see this three are ready alongside Barco . Still needs to get another CM to add on due to RJ and Lavia injury prone . A striker to partner JP upfront . If I were Alonso I keep Jackson to play alongside JP . If Enzo wants to leave , sale him to Madrid and get camavinga as a part of the deal . Camavinga can cover cucu if he wants to leave too . I hope the XL Bully and the Pug’s and poodle’s SD’s will work well with Alonso . Give Alonso needs to make this team squad conquer the EPL this coming new season . There’s a chance this club can do it if some key players stay and one can go . I hope it won’t be disappointing recruit to bring a new player’s for reinforcement . Just a few tweaks this team will conquer EPL this coming season . Diomande / tapsoba with Silva as a playing coach that will do good for the team .
