The world is now officially in a pandemic after the outbreak of COVID-19, a strain of the Coronavirus.
Things are moving fast and various decisions still need to be made surrounding what action is being taken to delay this virus spreading. But it looks almost certain now that there will be no more football or any sporting events for that matter for a long while.
The Premier League are this morning due to have an emergency meeting with club officials, some of which will ask for the season to be void, rather than suspended.
Premier League emergency meeting tomorrow.
Am told some figures at certain clubs disagree with the decision to continue, and feel the season should be voided.

So what does this mean for Chelsea? Well, simply, the season will finish now as it is, with The Blues qualifying for the Champions League next season by finishing in fourth place.
It is unclear exactly how it would be worked out, but voiding means ending it as it is. Although something would need to be figured out in terms of teams coming up, perhaps something similar to what is being suggested in Germany, with the league being extended..
