The transfer window is fast approaching us now, and it never fails to deliver pure entertainment on social media if nothing else.
Former Manchester City winger Leroy Sane has been fronting the media today after making his move to Bayern Munich, and he has caused quite a stir on the Kai Havertz to Chelsea rumours.
Sane just confirmed Kai Havertz to Chelsea it seems pic.twitter.com/eaqVeCsMbl

Although he didn’t actually ‘confirm’ Havertz to Chelsea as some have claimed, he certainly drops a massive hint that he is heading there. Being international team mates, Sane will certainly be ‘in the know’ on this one.
Not quite true as the reporter had asked what do you think if Chelsea sign Havertz as well as Timo Werner? https://t.co/OY8MQkiOTD

But the German translation sounds like it is very promising all the same.
German is my first language, so believe me when I tell you those quotes are essentially correct.
Word for word translation would be along the lines of: “With Timo Werner & Kai Havertz, 2 Germans in 1 year, I think Chelsea might‘ve done well to get a hold of (them).“#Sane #CFC https://t.co/nhJ8podwie

And we also got to have another positive update on the matter via transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, so it’s a win win!

Chelsea of course face Bayern Munich in the Champions League next month, but none of the new German arrivals will be allowed to face each other up in this contest just yet.
