The worst possible pairing for Chelsea has been awarded as Jose Mourinho’s side will face Paris Saint German for the third straight year.
The Blues of London were eliminated by the French Giants last season in Europe’s elite competition at the quarter final stage courtesy a headed goal by captain Thiago Silva at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea head into the fixture in the back of a disastrous campaign in the Premier Leguea but have had some ‘luck’ in the Champions League where they finished first in Group G ahead of fellow qualifiers Dynamo Kyiv.
With the first leg to be played at the Stade de Princes and Stamford Bridge hosting the second leg, you’d think Mourinho will be challenged by the tactical demands of the tie.
Chelsea also eliminated PSG two season ago in the same competition before exiting to Diego Simeone’s Atletico Madrid in the semi final.
Do the Blues have a chance?
