Chelsea had the almost impossible task of going to Bayern Munich and beating them 4-0 to stay in the Champions League this season, after being gunned down 3-0 at home in the first leg knockout game.
However, they were still in the competition even though it was just by the skin of their teeth.
Frank Lampard’s team were getting prepared to go to Germany and give it their absolute all in one last attempt to keep the dream alive, right before the global Coronavirus pandemic really erupted and put a stop to it.

UEFA have announced that the Champions League Finals have been postponed. They were scheduled to take place in May.
As a result of the COVID-19 crisis, UEFA has today formally postponed the following finals, originally scheduled for May 2020.@UWCL@EuropaLeague@ChampionsLeague
No decision has yet been made on rearranged dates. Further announcements will be made in due course.

There has been no clarity on whether they will happen at all, with no further date rescheduled. The likelihood is with the rate this virus is spreading, that the competition could well end up being void altogether for this season and starting it fresh next season.
