Chelsea have already secured the signings of Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech this summer, and more arrivals are expected.
The Blues play a massive game today against Wolves and the goal is Champions League qualification.
The competition brings huge financial rewards, and Chelsea need a win or a draw to finish top 4 and qualify for the competition today.
There had been whispers that Chelsea gaining Champions League football or not, could make a difference to some of the new potential arrivals, especially Kai Havertz from Bayer Leverkusen.
However, Chelsea are confident that their transfer plans wont be effected whether they get top 4 or not, according to The Daily Mail.
Havertz is expected to join Chelsea regardless and has already agreed personal terms with the club.
#Haverts just wants to leave Bayer and join #Chelsea.
Personal terms have already been agreed: €9M/season till 2025.
In a few days there will be the official bid from #CFC to find the agreement around €80M. Chelsea are the only club in the race for his signature. @SkySport pic.twitter.com/lRSeZCVe16— Angelo Mangiante (@angelomangiante) July 23, 2020
The Mail say that Chelsea are also still chasing Declan Rice from West Ham, and Nicolas Tagliafico from Ajax, and these potential deals will also not be effected regardless of what happens today.
