When it comes to transfer news you can’t really get much more reliable than transfer guru Fabrizio Romano.
He has just provided a significant update on Chelsea winger Willian.
Chelsea have offered the Brazilian a further two-year contract extension as he has now become a free agent on completion of the domestic season.
But the 32-year old has rejected Chelsea’s latest offer according to Romano, who posted the update on his Twitter account some moments ago.
He has also confirmed that Willian’s representatives are now in talks with Arsenal regarding joining them and as he is a free agent, this can be completed without hassle.
Willian has refused another bid from Chelsea to extend his contract until June 2022. Still no agreement. Arsenal are now in talks with his representatives to sign him as a free agent – no bids from Barcelona at the moment. 🇧🇷 #AFC #CFC #transfers

Willian now has a big decision to make, and Romano was keen to point out that it is not quite a done deal as of yet and he could still stay at Chelsea.
let’s see what he will decide at the final stage my friend 🙂 still thinking and thinking… but Arsenal are trying with his agents. It’s up to Willian now

But that does look highly unlikely now he has rejected another offer from them.
