Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has thanked Chelsea fans for their support via an Instagram message today.
Mudryk scored a great goal for Chelsea last night to help them beat Newcastle United 3-2 in the Premier League, and it feels like it was a much needed goal for him and for Chelsea/Mauricio Pochettino.

He superbly rounded a couple of players before slotting the ball past a stranded goalkeeper. This is the kind of thing that will help him build momentum, and he has thanked the fans for backing him, as seen here…

A nice goal for sure, but more than “building momentum” (whatever that means) Mudryk needs to become a student of the game. He’s way behind his peers in terms of his football IQ and he’ll never capitalize on his spectacular physical gifts until he can “think” the game as fast as his body can play it.
