Cole Palmer will not receive bonus despite incredible Chelsea stats this season

Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer will reportedly not receive any goal bonus this season despite leading the scoring charts alongside former team mate Erling Haaland.

The Blues man has become the shining light at Chelsea this season and has often been carrying this team, just like legend Eden Hazard used to do during his golden years at the club.

Sources: Manager names on Chelsea’s shortlist to replace Mauricio Pochettino revealed!

Palmer scored four goals in Monday night to help his side thrash Everton 6-0 at Stamford Bridge, and he has pretty much been running things at the club since arriving from Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City in the summer.

And now he is challenging his former City team mate Haaland for the golden boot award, with both players now on 20 Premier League goals. Palmer’s scoring and assist stats have just been insane, non-human in fact, and there is still plenty of games left for him to score and assist even more!

Without Palmer this season you do wonder where Chelsea would be, he’s really become the main talisman at the club and the one to make things happen.

But he wont be receiving a goal bonus, according to a report from The Sun this week. They claim that Palmer was not bothered about insisting on a goal bonus when signing his £80,000-a-week, seven-year Blues deal last September.

I guess it is refreshing to hear that in the modern game but yes, I am sure he might be wondering that he should have insisted on a goal bonus now, especially after he has literally been dragging this Chelsea side through in certain games this season.

But Palmer is a smart and humble lad, and you can just see that every game he is turning up with a smile on his face and just wants to do his best for his team.

Palmer’s hat-trick at Stamford Bridge on Monday was a back-to-back one at Stamford Bridge and also a perfect hat-trick scoring with his left foot, right foot, and his head. The stuff of fairy-tales.

  1. Yeah literally man has been on fire
And perhaps why he didn’t insist on goal bonus because he never Thought his first season at Chelsea would be like this.

But he still deserves his flowers
