(Image): Two different Chelsea youngsters spotted training with first team

Two different Chelsea academy players were spotted training with the first team under Mauricio Pochettino this week as they prepare to face Tottenham later in the week.

The Blues welcome Spurs to Stamford Bridge on Thursday evening for the 7.30pm kick off in the Premier League match.

Sources: Chelsea make contact with reps of new striker as deal for the summer progresses!

Preparations for that game have been happening at Cobham this week, and manager Pochettino has drafted in some academy players to perhaps make up the numbers and given them a chance to impress.

As you can see in the images below, both striker Dujuan Richards, and full back Dylan Williams were spotted training with the first team group yesterday.

Richards has been really impressing in the U21s in recent games, showing that he can do it all. And Williams has proven to be a solid all round player who is versatile and has a lot of natural quality about his game.

Let’s hope we soon see more of them!

  1. From one Richards to another, me being a Jamaican, also, a long-standing supporter of Chelsea, I am indeed excited that Dujuan(whisper)Richards seems to be on the brink of getting a run on the first team. All the best young man, when the chance comes, grab it with both hands……Actually, grab it with both feet.
