(Video)- talkSPORT pundit delivers brutal message to Chelsea fans wanting Mauricio Pochettino sacked

Mauricio Pochettino has come in for a lot of criticism this season following another disappointing campaign with the Blue’s ninth in the table, with six games remaining.

Chelsea’s campaign has been littered with inconsistencies, which is to be expected given all the young players the club have signed over the last two windows.

Despite difficult circumstances, Pochettino hasn’t done enough with the tools at his disposal, but the Argentine isn’t the only or main problem at the club.

The recruitment strategy simply hasn’t worked so far, and those responsible for implementing the policy seriously need to be looked at.

talkSPORT pundit Andy Jacobs believe’s the club’s recruitment has been really poor, and has told those fans calling for the 52-year-old to be sacked to “find a new sport.”

Chelsea must deviate away from their recruitment policy this summer and add some experience to their ranks, otherwise it could be another long season.

  1. I think the folks calling for Poch to be sacked are nuts. It would set us back in a major way and, if reports are to be believed, it would really damage the feeling in the dressing room.

That said, it does seem wise to try and recruit at least one or two veteran players to come into the side and help stabilize things. In retrospect, it’s a real shame that we unloaded someone like Mateo Kovacic because he was always a great performer for us and you can imagine his presence in the midfield would have gone a long way toward solidifying things in a match like Arsenal where we got absolutely shredded.
