Reece James has confirmed he’s back in the Chelsea squad for Saturday evening’s game against Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.
James has had another injury ravaged season and hasn’t played for the Blues since a 2-0 defeat against Everton at Goodison Park in December.
The 24-year-old picked up a hamstring injury which he underwent surgery for, and he has been limited to just nine appearances this campaign.
However there is light at the end of the tunnel with Chelsea confirming James had returned to full team training this week and was no longer on the club’s injury list.
Mauricio Pochettino had stated yesterday there was a chance the right back could be part of the match day squad, but it appears James has confirmed he will be.
The England international shared an update to social media saying he would see the Chelsea fans at 5:30.
It means James could appear for the Blues for the first time in 152 days, in what would be a huge end of season boost for everyone at the club.
