(Video) – Marc Cucurella lives up to funniest in the dressing room tag

Marc Cucurella is enjoying somewhat of a resurgence following a tactical switch which has seen him invert into midfield when the Blues are in possession.

Cucurella followed up a brilliant second half display against Aston Villa, with equally as good performances in the wins against Tottenham and West Ham.

The Spaniard is starting to look like the player Chelsea paid Brighton over £60m for in 2022, and his performances in this inverted role are perhaps why Pep Guardiola wanted to bring him to Manchester City.

The 25-year-old has had a difficult time at Stamford Bridge and was even booed by supporters at times last season, but is now really starting to show what he can do.

The Spain international is clearly a popular member of the squad, with team-mates Cole Palmer and Alfie Gilchrist naming him as the funniest in the dressing room.

Cucurella certainly lived up to that tag when filming a video for Chelsea’s YouTube channel with Palmer and Gilchrist, with the pair in stitches at one of the Spaniard’s answers.
